About UsThe Blackhawk Region BMW Association was formed by ten BMW Motorcycle owners in 1974 to support the sport and safety of motorcycle touring. The Association is chartered with both the BMW Motorcycle Owners Association (Club #35) and the BMW Riders of America (Club #204). Our Club is incorporated as a not-for-profit organization with the State of Illinois.
The club is made up of riders whose skills range from novice to the highly experienced. We have varying interests: some enjoy sport touring; some like to really lean it into the corners; some like adventure riding on whatever the road brings them; and still others can’t think of anything better than a leisurely ride down the highway. We don't take ourselves seriously but we are serious about riding well and riding safely, and enjoy the camaraderie of riding and socializing with other riders. All are welcome at our monthly meetings, and no, you don't have to ride a BMW motorcycle to join our club. Contact a club officer for the next meeting date, ride, or gathering. We hope to see you soon, at a meeting or on the road! For more about our club, view or download our Club Brochure HERE. |
